Link Productivity to Location and Flow

Location-Aware Kanban Board

Visualize job routes on the shop floor and organize them into a process flow. Sensors on bins or pallets track WIP locations, and check-in/out of geo-fenced areas enables PeopleFlow to track an item through a process. Misplaced items are highlighted on a Kanban card to quickly locate them on the floor or in inventory.

Always-On Time-and-Motion Studies

Highlight travel path, time, and distance of people, inventory, or equipment equipped with sensors in a Spaghetti Diagram. Use the generated Spaghetti Diagram to analyze waste related to Motion. Can you reorganize or move your tools or materials locations? Can you layout your work centers to reduce travel time or distance?

Locate Equipment + Inventory

A typical lost tool or inventory item takes over 20 minutes to find and often involves more than one person to locate it. Scale that to your operations and the number of occurrences, and you're looking at days of lost productivity. PeopleFlow Instant Locate allows sensor-equipped inventory and tools to be located on a map instantly.

It’s only when you find a problem that you need the data. Unfortunately, you can’t recreate history. We’ve been there – it IS frustrating.

  • Always-On data collection to run studies and scenarios
  • Staff and Visitor privacy is designed into PeopleFlow
  • Capture movement & interaction data for 100s of 1000s
  • Wearables ensure privacy and reliability

HOW DOES PEOPLEFLOW FOR INDUSTRY WORK?

1. Install Sensors + Tags

Deploy Sensors to determine location of PeopleFlow tags with 1-2m accuracy. Assign PeopleFlow Tags to employees or visitors or stick on equipment, tools, inventory, and work-in-process. Integrate MRP to support notifications & reporting.

2. Capture Data

Always-On Data captures the movement of people and things throughout the plant and the interactions between people and things, things and things, and people and people. Add location to your inventory, equipment, process flows, and plant floor staff.

3. Run Process Improvement Studies

Lean Tools for identifying waste enable you to track and locate work-in-process and inventory in a Kanban board, run time-and-motion studies to build a Spaghetti Diagram for the layout of your work centers and stores, and quickly find lost inventory.

FIND WASTE IN YOUR PROCESS BY LEVERAGING LOCATION

You have taken drastic measures to keep your facilities open and operating. With PeopleFlow Contact Trace, we can ensure that your facility is not designated by public health as an outbreak site.

At Spatial DNA we know that you want to be a DIGITAL PROCESS ENGINEER.  In order to do that, you need to find and implement process efficiencies.  The problem is that productivity measures in your operation have fallen or are low when compared to others – which makes you feel like a laggard.  We believe that LOCATION and MOTION data should be at your fingertips.  We understand that “going digital” is overwhelming and confusing, which is why we’ve built a specific set of lean tools leveraging location to help you identify lean waste and quickly improve your flow.

Here’s how we do it: 1. Install Sensors & Tags 2. Capture Data 3. Identify & Measure Process Improvements. So, Book a Meeting.  And in the meantime, submit a staff count and floor plan for an estimate to give you piece-of-mind.  So you can stop engaging in isolated paper improvement cycles and instead outfit your plant as a digital lab to test your process improvement hypotheses.

REQUEST A COST ESTIMATE

PeopleFlow Contact Trace costs are primarily driven by the number of staff at your facility.  There are incremental costs for installing data collectors at strategic points in your facility to offload the interaction information from PeopleFlow Tags that employees will wear while on your site.  A floorplan will allow us to estimate the infrastructure costs at your facility – we are primarily looking for the number of entry/egress points, common areas, and other spaces where people pass through on a regular basis.

We find that clients aren’t comfortable talking about technology until they have a sense of their end costs.  An estimate can give you some comfort before speaking to sales about your needs.
